Is LinkedIn worth it anymore?

I’ve been a member of LinkedIn since 2006 when it was touted as a good platform to make professional connections.

I personally find it very difficult to tell how effective LinkedIn is. I try to post on topics that are important to me, such as mental health issues, racial equity, HR practices, etc. I have a lot of connections, but I have a hard time with reading relevant posts, and I really don’t know if people are reading my posts.

Lately it has become more like Facebook; I sometimes get completely irrelevant messages from people who seem more interested in hookups! Gross!
