How can mass shootings be normalized? They can’t. They should not be a part of everyday life.
No one should have to live in fear that someone holds a grudge for any reason and decides to carry out mass murders to avenge some sort of injustice on possibly total strangers. Maybe there was a specific target, but usually the victims belong to some imaginary group that in their delusional mind should be eliminated.
