Now that dining in is fully allowed again, I will no longer be keeping a log of restaurants I have ordered from for delivery or takeout. This is 6 months’ worth (01/01/21-06/30/21) of deliveries and takeouts, and it does not include dine-ins. I’ll still order for delivery, especially for lunch, but I won’t be tracking anymore. I’m just happy I’ve been able to try a lot of restaurants and also support local businesses.

So, reader, I am asking for your dining stories. Have you been cooking at home more? When you order in or go pick up, do you try to support local restaurants? Do you feel comfortable dining out again?

As always, please keep it civil and relevant. I promise I will refrain from commenting on your experience, but I might be curious enough to ask questions to better understand your story.

Staycation 06.18.21-06.23.21











So, I took a few days off for a staycation at this AirBnB that I’d stayed at before that is really cool in a neighborhood that I don’t normally frequent, that’s above a Cajun restaurant run by a James Beard Award semifinalist for Best Chef Great Lakes. 

I managed to explore the neighborhood for some really cool restaurants.
